Soy is the cleaner buring alternative.  Be sure to keep your wick trimmed before re-liting your candle each time, thee is vertually no soot.  Be sure to let your candle burn all the way to the edges, this will let your candle burn evenly and you can enjoy the heavenly scent from top to bottom.
